What we collect

Account details: your name, email address, and password. Your password is stored only as an encrypted hash — we can never read it.

Your resume and job preferences: experience level, job categories, locations, work mode, schedule, and keywords you configure.

Job-site credentials: the usernames and passwords you provide for LinkedIn, Dice, and Indeed. These are encrypted with AES-256 before they are stored, and are used for one purpose only — submitting applications on your behalf. They are never displayed in plain text, never shared, and never sold.

How we use your data

We use your data to run ApplyPilot: matching job openings to your preferences, submitting applications in the time windows you choose, and keeping the application log you see in your dashboard.

We send operational emails about your account — sign-up confirmation, password resets, and important service notices. We do not sell your personal data and we do not send advertising to third parties on your behalf.

Who can see your data

Only you can see your dashboard, resume, and application log. Access to production data is restricted to the minimum needed to operate the service and is never used to read your job-site passwords in plain text.

When ApplyPilot applies to a job on your behalf, the receiving job site necessarily sees the application — that is the service you asked for.

Data retention and deletion

You can delete your resume, job-site connections, or your entire account from your settings at any time. Deleting your account removes your profile, preferences, schedules, and application history. We keep minimal records where required by law.

Security

All traffic runs over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Passwords are hashed, job-site credentials are encrypted at rest, and access is protected by row-level security so no other account can read your data.
